I should make a shirt that says “Boy Gamer” or “Male Gamer” and see if it gets someone to start an argument with me
My only real challenge with ‘gamer girls’ is that they frequently have no concept of male safe space. “Xbox Culture” is one of the few ‘places’ on Earth where guys can just be guys without having to worry about offending anyone (or care less if they do), especially not women.
I think a lot of girls really get off on infiltrating this culture because they want to be revered as ‘different,’ and use that power to enact changes, which kind of nullifies the point of the “culture” in the first place.
Only really good gamer girls are the ones that play it to have fun and really enjoy it. Not the stupid girls on youtube who get preachy because they like games more than shoes.
